Salt talk
To be “the salt of the earth” is often considered a high compliment and a desirable quality for individuals to embody. The phrase has its origins in the teachings of Jesus Christ .
It signifies embodying virtues that enrich the lives of others and contribute positively to the world. Jesus said: “you are the salt of the earth”.
But what does this mean in my life today? How could I understand this teaching better in my everyday living? A large number of Jesus’ followers, those whom He identified as the salt of the earth, still lack a complete understanding of this teaching.
